A run or walk on snowshoes on snow-covered dirt roads and a bit of single track trails with plenty of up and down running. If there is no snow, bring rugged running shoes! You can expect the chance encounter of wildlife including moose, bear, and other. The course is not a groomed course so footing is rough at best for most of this run and there are hills to climb and small stream crossings to maneuver around. Also there may be the possibility of icy or slippery conditions present on the course. Be prepared for the cold. Distance may be modified based on the day of the event conditions. The course will be clearly marked in USSSA standards with orange and red flagging.
